Dear Mount Pleasant Heritage Working Group (MPHWG) Members,

It was great to see some of you out to the Heritage Open House on Tuesday, February 19!! We had about 60 participants attending the Open House and they provided many comments on the five historic themes including Brewery Creek, Foundation of City, Old Mount Pleasant Village, Cultural Life, and Social Diversity.

The third and last meeting for MPHWG will focus the discussion on concluding the list of historic themes and places in Mount Pleasant and report on next steps of the process. We would appreciate your efforts in attending this meeting on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at the Native Education College (285 East 5th Avenue). Please take time to read the attached Open House Transcript before the meeting and the meeting agenda is also attached for your reference.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 604-871-6598.

Best Regards,

Angela Ko Mount Pleasant Community Planning Program Planning Department, City of Vancouver
